RECYCLED COTTON

Recycled cotton is made from waste cotton, which is sorted by type and color, and then crushed and converted into new cotton fiber.

The use of recycled cotton reduces the consumption of primary raw materials. By turning textile waste into a new recycled fiber, we avoid the next planting of cotton.

In addition, in this way we turn waste into a resource.

CERTIFICATES

We use only recycled cotton, certified by organizations that control its production from the very beginning to the final product. We currently work with the following standards:

RECYCLED POLYESTER

Currently, recycled polyester is produced mainly from waste PET plastic, which is used, for example, for the manufacture of bottles.

Whenever you throw a plastic bottle into a recycling bin, it is taken to a specialized plant for selection and sorting. Here, different types of plastic are separated from each other and given a new purpose. PET plastic is cleaned, shredded and recycled to make new polyester fiber and other products.

In this way, we give new life to plastic waste and reduce the consumption of primary raw materials.

CARE FOR WATER

These products are manufactured using technologies that reduce water consumption during the manufacturing process.

The process of dyeing and washing clothes requires the most water. The use of closed cycles that recycle water and technologies such as low detergent ratio washing machines and high-capacity dyeing ink systems reduce water consumption in the washing and dyeing process and help conserve fresh water.

CERTIFICATES

This product is manufactured in accordance with the Join Life standard of the Inditex group of companies. We developed it in 2015 as a tool for unifying criteria. This standard is formulated on the basis of various aspects, such as impact analysis based on the life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology, initiatives to promote practices aimed at reducing the negative impact on the environment, or materials certified by specialized external companies.

Since its inception, we have been constantly working to improve it.

CARE

By taking care of your clothes, you are taking care of the environment.

To prolong the life of your denim, always wash it on a low temperature and turn it inside out first. This allows you to save the color and structure of the fabric, as well as reduce energy consumption.
